You can switch between several gradings of freshly ground beans per carafe, or using pre-ground beans. Features of the Cuisinart DGB900BCU

Just a few of the reasons this machine has rightly been accredited so many 5 stars reviews:

  • cuisinart - dgb900bcu grinderA fully incorporated professional grade gold filter means the water being used is the purest it can be. The gold helps clean the water without leeching any flavours back into the water, something other inferior metals would do.
  • Double charcoal water purifiers to remove lime-scale and prolong the longevity of the machine as well as continuing to improve the taste of the pour,
  • A timer feature so you can wake up to a fresh pot every day,
  • Fully programmable to make between 4 and 12 cups of coffee with either fresh beans or pre-ground coffee.
  • A double wall carafe to keep the coffee hot naturally and not reliant on re-heating it which significantly alters the taste,
  • Kitchen footprint of just H42 x W21 x D33cm

Reviews of the DGB 900 BCU by Cuisinart

Mr Williams gave this Cuisinart grinder and coffee machine 5 stars and had this to share:

This is an excellent machine at a fantastic price. The machine is simple to set up and produces fantastic tasting coffee. I actually found the carafe to be well designed and – despite having to turn it upside down to get the last few cups – not as tricky to use as some reviews suggest. By the second time you use it, you’ll get the hang of it. The self-sealing mechanism is quite clever. Mine kept a half-jug warm for over six hours in a very cold kitchen; no need to re-heat or use a hotplate. Cleaning is painless too – no worse than a filter machine or cafetiere. I honestly can’t think of a negative thing to say. I’d highly recommend it, and would buy the same unit again without hesitation.

Similarly, Mr Rudkin reviewed the DGB900BGU with the full 5 stars saying:

In our house there has always been some form of coffee on the go and over the years we have gone through numerous filter coffee machines as we are snobs and do not have instant!!

A few years back we found a ‘Grind and Brew’ machine for sale in a bargain High street store. As it was priced similarly to our usual regular filtered coffee machines we thought we would try it. It was unfortunately of plastic construction and we returned several broken machines before it was dis-continued, much to our dismay. Unknown to me my wife was still looking for one of these machines and when I happened upon this Cuisinart machine on Amazon we decided to give it a go.

We have had the machine for nearly two months now and are both very pleased with it. We have both given it a five out of five rating, despite some initial ‘pouring’ issues with the jug that others have mentioned! (Once you are used to it there really is no trouble and certainly no spillage or waste!)
