Philips Senseo Quadrante HD7860 Coffee Maker £100 Leave a replyThe Senseo Quadrante by Philips is a great 5 star modern coffee maker that delivers an intense coffee for only £100. Not only does it produce great drinks but we think it looks awesome and stylish. Its contemporary black casing is broken by curvatures of subset panels, revealing the 1.2L water tank, adjustable drip tray and location for the aromatic coffee pods.Pod coffee machines aren’t for everyone, but they are constantly improving and becoming wider in selection. Many people have converted over to the prepackaged coffee pods, favoring their cleanliness and ease. Many companies do ‘starter deals’ to help you find what flavor or blend you prefer, such as the 48 pod Senseo Coffee World Trip for only £17.Reviews for the Senseo Quadrante HD7860Don’t take our words for this machine, listen to what these two reviews have to say about the Philips Senseo Quadrante. First of all Meadows seems to be loving her upgrade from the previous model, even now that the water tank is slightly smaller:I prefer the square Quadrante to the rounded Senso Machines. It seems much quicker and a little hotter. It has the option to adjust the drip tray to three different heights which would be useful when doing a small after dinner coffee. The water tank is easier to fill as it sits flat on the work surface. I would have liked the water tank to be just a little larger, we were using the large water tank that holds 1.5 litres of water on the old machine and could get four large mugs from the tank before refilling, the tank on this machine only holds 1.2 litres. We did find we would get some leakage from the old machines but have not had a leakage with this new shape of coffee machine. The water tank on the Quadrante sits within the machine (making for a sleeker look) and not on the exterior. 5 star review by MeadowBarneyM1979 couldn’t praise this machine higher and disagrees with Meadows over the tank being too small. He also offers up helpful advise that the Senseo pods can be easily and cheapily picked up in supermarkets.I received the Philips Senseo Quadrante Coffee System as a gift this Christmas. I am a huge latte fan and had spent many hours weighing up the pros and cons of more expensive machines that ground coffee beans and frothed milk. Ultimately, I was put off by the fantastic price of these professional/industrial coffee makers (£200-£400), so I chose this machine for the coffee and a Bodum Milk Frother for the necessary milk. I couldn’t be happier! Sure, it probably takes a little while longer (2 minutes to froth and heat the milk) but the results once perfected are sublime! The Senseo Quadrante is compact, well made, and very easy to use. It has a few removable parts which make cleaning easy. The water chamber is huge, so it will easily make 8 drinks from one fill up, but the whole machine is actually very compact. The pods (essentially coffee in a 67mm diameter teabag) are readily available in supermarkets (and indeed are the cheapest pod coffee available in my supermarket, undercutting the Dulce Gusto and Nespresso pods) and can also be purchased online.Cheapest price for the Senseo HD7860 coffee makerYou can now pick up this great, compact and modern coffee maker for only £100 online. We couldn’t recommend it higher, even if you’re not a usual coffee pod drinker. Maybe now is the time to switch, two cups of fresh Douwe Egberts coffee in under 2 minutes is surely the perfect way to start the morning.Senseo coffee pod dealsYou may also be interested in some of these great packs to try out your new coffee investment:36 Extra Dark Senseo Pods – £8 72 Classic Senseo Pods – £17 24 Senseo Cream Pods – £15Philips Senseo Quadrante HD7860 Coffee Maker £100 was last modified: April 24th, 2017 by Paul KaffieHelp us promote our coffee reviews:TwitterFacebookTumblrThe Coffee Blogs review in summary Author RatingYour Rating3 based on 8 votes Brand Name PhilipsProduct Name Senseo Quadrante HD7860Price GBP 95You may also enjoy these related articles Heston Blumenthal’s Barista Express Coffee Machine now available for under £500 Save £130 on the De’Longhi EC850.M coffee maker Gran Gaggia RI8327 Coffee Maker Review – £175 Morphy Richards Accents 47586 Espresso Maker – 5 Star Review – £90
